Heubode is a cosy restaurant with rustic charm in a green setting located on a farm.

The visible food shutters remind of former times and the long tables made of our own cherry wood create a special ambience in the room. The open space allows a glimpse into the kitchen. Be it family celebrations, a birthday or a confirmation: we are looking forward to be your host!

  • Wedding aperitif at the farm square for up to 120 people
  • Fondue/raclette at the «Gnüsser-Hüsli» in winter for 6 – 12 people

Our conviction

Our farm is based on two complementary pillars, the Huebhof farming business and the Heubode restaurant. Our meat is from our own farm and must meet highest standards. It is thus self-evident that we attach great importance on best animal husbandry; our calves are exclusively fed on milk, grass and hay. We take care of land and animals and are farmers out of passion. At Heubode, as a host, we give our best to make sure that your spirit and your stomach feel at ease.


When you can hear a crackling in the wood-fired stove, when the landscape is covered in a white snowy coat and candles and torches are glowing, it's time to stop by at the Gnüsser-Hüsli in Manzenhub. Experience a unique atmosphere warmed by the wood-fired oven far from any hustle and bustle.
